The Philippines consists of over 7,000 islands located in South East Asia between China, Japan, Malaysia and Indonesia. It is a country with varied habitats from rainforests to wetlands and from coastal areas to mountains and as such has almost 600 species of birds of which an extraordinary 170-plus are endemic birds. Bird-Photo-Tours ASIA’ Philippines workshops will focus on obtaining close photographic encounters with many of the Philippines special birds including Eagles, Hornbills, Kingfishers, Pittas, Sunbirds, Owls, Fantails and Flowerpeckers. In addition to photographing birds, the Philippines also offers breathtaking landscapes, such as coastal views, mountains, and lush forests, enhancing the overall experience of being in nature whilst observing birds.
