Turkmenistan is located in Central Asia, bordered by Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan and Iran and with a long coastline with the Caspian Sea to its west. It is a country with diverse habitats from deserts, mountains, steppes and oases with over 400 species of birds.
