Thailand is located in South East Asia, in the center of the Indochinese Peninsular, bordered by Myanmar to the north and west, by Laos to the east and Cambodia and Malaysia to the south. It is a country with diverse habitats including rainforests, wetlands, mangroves, mountains, grasslands and pristine coastlines and as such has an exceptionally high bird biodiversity with over 1,100 species. Bird-Photo-Tours ASIA’ Thailand workshops will focus on generating close photographic encounters with many of its special birds including Partridges, Peacock-Pheasants, Barbets, Treepies and Broadbills. Thailand also offers breathtaking landscapes and cultural treasures enhancing the overall experience of being in nature whilst observing birds.
